The Tenga Flex in my opinion is a great beginners toy. I myself had only used one other sex toy prior to this one and I can confidently say the difference was night and day. At the top of the toy there is a little hole that when covered is supposed to mimic a suction feel, which in my opinion it didn't really make a difference, but when that hole is not covered there is a decently loud whooshing noise that come when using the toy.
